I attached a spreadsheet to a hotmail to send very important info to my accountant. It doesnt get through and I have had e message back saying transmission is delayed. Does anyone know why or have any workarounds? my accountants ISP is blueyonder.
It was sent via the hotmail http server i.e. set up as a hotmail account in Outlook. The error mesage says Delivery Status Notification (Delay). As separate details file reads
Ok presuming it's being sent to a blueyonder or company account then it appears hotmail is having a problem sending the email to their server(s). As the message says it's going to keep trying to send every so often but if it is unable to then it'll give up and probably send a undelivereable message back to you on sometime today.
Not much I can suggest for that directly. You could try contacting hotmail or as a temporary measure signing up for another free email account so you can try and get the spreadsheet through.
