In October, after several years of bimonthly disconnections and email problems, I decided to change my internet provider. I got a MAC code from Orange and everything was hunky dory...until today when, by chance, I logged into an old email account & discovered an invitation to view an online Orange(?!?!) statement.
Yes, I am being promised a refund...we'll see what happens...
Btw, my new internet provider is brilliant!!! No 'Spanish inquisition' when I phone up and the one problem I have had was resolved with the minimum of fuss.
Morals of the story:
1. Don't assume your account has been cancelled & check your bank statements.
2. If you haven't already done so already, change providers.
