<Livebox Issues? ~ No talk service, Wireless slower than wired ???

Hi There, just had my line upgraded from 2meg to 4.5meg, the talk service no longer works pic the phone up dial a number then the livebox disconnects from the internet ( @ light starts to flash) and phone makes a sound like when some one hangs up phoned Orange who have no idea !!
Next problem ran speed test on pc connected wirelessly only 1.9mbs d/l and 0.34 u/l, yet if i connect wired i get 3.8 d/l and 0.37 u/l .
Have tried changing channels used them all with no difference tried changing wpa to wep and other way round to no joy, anyone have any ideas or had same problem??, I need to connect wirelessly as livebox is in main socket in the hall and i dont fancy moving the pc to the hall !!!
