Well finally my prison sentence is up & I have now been realised on bail!!!
Left Orange at the beginning of January but of course it was not a smooth process to switch over to AOL my NEW ISP!!!!
I had to spend 2 HOURS on the phone screaming to them to get my MAC code. They started off giving me this dribble about my phone line was only compatible for Orange broadband and I couldn’t switch over. However after speaking to one of there supervisors at the call centre who said I will request for your MAC code but it properly wont work, surprisingly it worked.
So if you trying to leave do persevere with it and you will eventually get your MAC code. Also another thing they don’t tell you is to keep your livebox. Today I received a package in the post along with a letter asking me to pack my up livebox & send it back or they will charge me ₤100.
Its funny how they send this nearly two months after I left & its only because I phoned them & checked what to do with my livebox that I kept it. Its a shame because I was so looking forward to burning it in my back garden.
Well I do hope all you other Orange prisoners have your sentences reduced soon, so you too can become an ex-orange!!!!!!!
I totally agree !!! heres a one for you... they also sent me the "Livebox return letter" but guess what? the big grey plastic bag they sent didnt have a return address on it lol.... now is THAT INCOMPETENCE or is that INCOMPETENCE? !!
I wrote to them giving them 14 days to send the return address or i would consider the matter closed, received it in 5 days lol... returned in its original box UNUSED i may add due to MORE INCOMPETENCE of their staff member telling me the Livebox supported 4 wired connections when in fact they only support 2!!
