I am new to Orange having defected from BT, I am sure you can all prove me wrong, but Orange will have to be really really bad to beat BT!
I have set up my livebox with my ibook 12 and it works fine on airport or wired. I have some questions though.
1. I have heard that I can use the livebox to print wirelessly. Is this possible with a MAC on airport?
2. If so how do I set it up?
3. I have also heard that I can connect my Western Digital HD to it and connect wirelessly. Is this also true?
4. If so how do I do it?
5. Do I need new/additional software?
6. Do I need to set up a 'network'?
Please can you give answers in basic terms, as I am no IT techy.
1. Yes you can although I've not much experience with MAC's myself. More details can be found in a thread over on Broadband Buyer.

2. See the thread, I don't pretend to know anything about the really techie stuff on MAC's.
3. Well if it has ethernet or wifi then it should be pretty easy. If it's USB then potentially yes but right now nobody has worked out how and I believe it would need another firmware update to enable that sort of functionality.
4. See 3.
5. Shouldn't do for the printer.
6. If you're using a livebox then you're already on a network, just you may not have setup file/printer sharing etc between computers.
there will be a live printer software soon available to the livebox and it should work through your MAC. The only software that should be needed is a firmware update to the livebox, and about the network, i think as long as the printer is connected to the livebox, it shouldnt really matter as i would of thought if it got sent to the livebox then printed from there, it should be able to be done from any computer in your house if u have 1 or 8 pcs
