This supposed 1 meg broadband is slower than my old 56k Anytime dial up and I could kick myself for buying into the Orange bull***t!

At the end of the day it's my fault for getting stung; I'll never make this mistake again!

My modem stats show connected at 7.6 Mbps. I know this means nothing in real terms. Just attempted to download one measly mp3 and had to give up when the transfer rate dropped to 18 kbps Shocked

I have had below 10 kbps recently so I should be grateful for the extra 8 or so kbps Laughing

Orange are doing a great job Evil or Very Mad

Tried downloading that pesky mp3 again this morning, thought there'd be less traffic. Got me a princely transfer rate of 7.5 Kbps! The file is on a sharing site. Any one know if these have been restricted by Orange?
I really must find another isp and soon!

what site you downloading from ? the slow speed could be the uploaders connection, do a speed test

Consider yourself lucky to be getting any connnection whatsoever !!!...
Orange Broadband is a complete joke...

Get out while you can !!

I was getting slower than 56k modem speeds (when i managed to get a connection AT ALL)
Not good considering i was supposed to be getting around 6.1 meg !!

Crap service
Crap company

Steer well clear.
