I have been with Orange for 2 years and never had a problems.
Then the Livebox came. Everything was ok untill i unpacked it and there was a loud scraping nose. I looked and saw a part was lose. I checked everything and i was connected fine. To the Wired. I never used the wireless untill it came to Januray when i got a laptop.
Wouldnt connect at all.
So i rang Orange and go throught to india. Were i kept getting cut off.
So i rang back and got throught to Rotheram were the systems were down but the lady tried everything to help me. Then she told me to ring back up and ask for cancelations and they would give me something free.
So i got throguth to india again and asked for cancelations.
Got put throught to a manager in the UK.

£17.99 (same price i paying now)
I took the offer and it was good.
3 Days later speed upgraded to 8.1MBPS and i live quite some distance from my local excahnge.
Back on track again with Orange.
Livebox working after spending a hour on phone to tech support i got sick and tired. They told me i had to ring back and ask for FET or someone. They sent me a Cd throught the post which i already had so it was no use.
Fixed livebox my self by changing channel which Orange support never asked me to do.
Finally back on track with Orange.
After 6 months i am canceling and going with someone else
Any recomendations for good ISP?

This sounds like the aerial inside the livebox. Its a piece of wire attached to small plugin card. If you rattle livebox around enough it dislodges. If it is this I'm not surprised you are/were having wireless problems. Happened to me. Could,nt be bothered speaking to Orange about it. Would probably have taken months to get sorted. Opened box, plugged module backin and everything ok since.
