STILL can't get a working broadband connection, despite starting on Dec 2nd and numerous calls to the wrongly named 'tech support line'.
They NOW advise me that I am having problems because I am using IEv7 (the latest) and that I should downgrade from v7 to v6 as Orange do not support yiou if you use v7 !!!???
What the heck is going on ... I am now near to tears and getting nowhere

Are you actually connected and cant browse ?
Ive tried IE7 twice and i hate it although i use FireFox but if you do want to go back to IE6 just click remove in add/remove and it will automatically roll it back to IE6.
