<Livebox Issues? ~ Orange wirelss not campaitible with certain wireless cards

Baically, after faffing around with trying to connect for about 3 dyas, I got a random call from somebody at Orange broadband, asking how I was finding teh service.
told them that the desktop PC connection was fine, but said I couldnt' connect my laptop.
Then got asked what kind of adapter was on my laptop. Apparentlty if you have an Initel Centrino (R) Pro Adapter / Pro R Adapter that does your wireless, then there are compatability issus with Live box. It can find the network, no problem, but it can't connect.
apparently, they have engineeers that are working on it and are aware of the problem, but it hasn't been resolved yet.......
SO for everyone that is having trouble connecting, check your network connections and see what you use. You may have to buy a new min PC card to connect........
Nothing, I've turned off all the security on the laptop and the on the live box and it makes no difference. It can "see" the livebox signal no problem, but it won't connect to it.
If you turn off the wireless security on the livebox,
Configuration > Advanced > Wireless, set to No Security.
Then there should be no need for the key, it's the most basic way to check the connection. You still need to press 1 on the box so it can pair up.
