Ok. BB down for 14 days, not as long as some, phoned everyday for line check to be escalated. Did all the stand on chair with hand in air whilst whistling Dixie and staring at Livebox til my eyes bled as the Indian called Sean in the call centre on the end of the line instructed me to do. At the first call I asked if the Livebox could be faulty - not a chance our equipment is always perfect!! I waited and phoned like a good boy every day - and was constantly told of the need for a line check!! Guess what - my mate went on holiday - I nicked his Livebox and wired it up to my system and it worked!!! I called Orange techies ( where I had to explain what an Ethernet cable was) and asked if the line fault had been detected and they said no it was the same!! I asked if it could be the fault of the box again and was told no. When I explained that I had put on another Livebox I was asked to hold and would have stil been holding if I hadn't put the phone down after waiting 10 minutes for sean to re appear!! Nightmare - I have mailed and written re this problem and am waitng for the reply to my mail that went on th 14th Feb!!
