Can it work with 98SE? Yes of course but there are problems with it. 98 has no wireless system built in so you have to rely on the software for whatever adapter it is which unless it's one of Orange's they're not trained on and can be wildly different from each other to navigate and use. They should be able to provide the basic steps to follow as long as the customer can use the software to a reasonable degree.
Also because of 98's age it can be somewhat unstable with wireless and is really annoying to troubleshoot issues compared to XP or even Vista.
In some way's I'm surprised Orange hasn't dropped official support for it yet like Microsoft have. It is after all getting on for 10 years old!
I managed to get it working, it wouldnt hold an encrypted connection though, and after a while it started refusing even an unsecured connection, but now that comp has gone and i have another XP one, so i dont need to bother with it anyway
