hi everyone,
i have been reading various posts about connecting to the live box with a third party adapter basicaly my mum just joined Orange and i went round there to set it up for her.
wired connection is fine she only has the laptop no desktop pc, she wants it connected wireless
i can only seem to get a connection in pairing mode, and the security is turned off on the live box, and all the secuirty is turned off on the laptop (macfee).will also hang on acquiing network address for ages and limited or no connectivity.
on the very occansional time i can get a connection,i lose it again when the live box comes out of pairing mode.
i did use the installion cd,i read somewhere on here not to use the cd and use windows is there a thread on here that explains how to do it that way?
when i click on show all connections i can see the live box with good signal strengh click on it and that is where the problems start,have entered the wep key but not sure how i go back to double check i have entered it in correctly
