<Livebox Issues? ~ Problem with the disc? problem with the firewall?problems!!

Yesterday I received the livebox, but the CD doesn’t run in my computer. It always send me to the firewall page, but I’ve already disconnected all the possible firewalls.
If I try to connect by Ethernet, it says that I am connected (it is sending and receiving), but no program can use it.
Also, if I try to setup all the files, just in the middle of the installation, it says that it cannot continue, and it is cut.
What can I do???
Do you have other kind of software (I’m using Win XP). Any idea will be welcome.
I had the same problem when i set mine up earlier this week. It is a "known" problem with the cd that is detailed on the Orange broadband help web site . Visit their help pages for broadband type "livebox cd" into the search window and you will see that this is the first item mentioned { it refers to disk version 1.4 BUT mine was 1.5 and that did not work ! }If you then scroll down to the bottom of this article and click on the "How to manually install your LIvebox" this will take you through all the steps to get it up and running. I did it this way and it worked first time.
