Noticed over the last while that a lot off times when attemting to send or receive email the server will actually time out before actually managing to connect, if I disconnect from the net and then reconnect my email then comes thru / sends instantly.
I also find this the case with the internet in general, after being on for a while the performance can becomme very poor with websites taken ages to come thru, again a quick disconect and reconect cures the problem straight away with performance being very fast for a while only to slow down after say 10-15 minutes off browsing.
running windows xp- ie 7, outlook express, six month old pc.
have done all virus checks with nothing found, scanned for addware etc all cleared out where neccesary, deleted all old files, cookies etc.
anyone else noticed this problem ?? just find it strange that disconnecting and then reconnecting should solve the problem for a while anyway - pc or Orange problem ??
