My connection (apparently 256k) is pretty slow, but it is better than my old 28.8k. Or not. The wireless set-up is annoying as hell, but I can get it to work. My main problem is the speed of this connection. For £30 a month, I am getting, apparently, an "average speed of 20k". For instance, it takes me days to download a 30 MB file. when viewing the download speed in graph form, however, I can see that it acts in waves. It peaks quite high; 256 k, but rapidly falls down to 1k, then slowly climbs back up. I have tried it wireless and ethernet, but get the same result. I am unsure of whether this is hardware or what. Any advice?
