From Wannadoo to Orange, 2x modems, 1x Live Box and they still cant solve the problem. Having just cancelled mr Orange because from the day i joined to present i still cant stay online long.
Hundreds of phone calls, line tests, re-booting, re-installing and still it fails to stay connected to the internet. Just b4 xmas it started again, loads of phone calls going over the same thing, promised call backs that never came, promised a 6 month refund that im still waiting for, then promised 3 months free broadband, but they took it from my bank account and no refund back in yet. I was then told it was passed to a one to one tech, he phoned me 3 days late after i phoned them again, to be told i had to wait for an engineer to finish work, they had more engineers working on my line than u think.
They then said about a code u can have to move, only to find out it doesnt work on LLU, still having to give 28 days notice, still taking my money after been told of a refund and 3 months free.
Ohhhand still waiting one week on for the escalation team to phone me back, the people on the front line always seemed to help but it Never ever seems to go any further than them answering the phone, always an excuse why they didnt phone back or why they cant do anything else to get it working.
If you're out of contract then please move to an ISP as Orange are not that.
I cannot understand why people allow Orange to hold them whilst robbing them and lying too.
Simply ring up, cancel your broadband, don't ask for a MAC code, wait 2 weeks for the line to becleared then move on.
If the line isn;t cleared then a complaint to ISPA usually gets it sorted.
