Means it's having trouble communicating with the livebox properly. Have you used ethernet on that pc before? If not you may want to reinstall/update the drivers for ethernet to make sure they're ok first.
Ok then next check your IP settings,
Lan connection properties,
Internet Protocol properties,
Normally you set both options IP and DNS to automatic,
Reboot and check the status again.
If still the same go to start > run,
put in...
netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt
again reboot and recheck.
Still not working then you could try a static IP,
back to the Internet Protocol properties and enter the following...
IP 192.168.1.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1
DNS Primary 195.92.195.95
DNS Secondary 195.92.195.94
The status should then come up connected, if you can browse to 192.168.1.1 and get the livebox page then it should be working. If the @ light is flashing slowly log in (admin for both to log in) and put your username and password in the internet service screen and you should be all done.
