I wonder if anyone can shed any light on a problem I have. I recently bought a new Sony laptop which wouldn't connect to my livebox. I went on to some pc forums and learnt that incompatibility is a common problem with Orange Liveboxes and Sony laptops, but this can be easily fixed by going into my Livebox's settings and having a fiddle. So I tried to log in to my Livebox to fix the problem and opened up a whole new can of worms when my username and password suddenly decided not to work! I called Orange on a number they like to call "Technical Support" (although the person on the other end of the phone was neither technical or supportive!) they confirmed I had the correct login and password, but I still cannot login! Has anybody else on this forum had a similar problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After using Orange Broadband since last summer I've come to realise that forums such as this are the only way of gaining any technical support.
hmm you will lose all your settings but I think performing a factory reset might also reset the password
turn off the power to you livebox, wait 30 seconds and press and hold button 1
turn the power back on (still holding button 1) and keep the button held in until all the light light up
release the button and wait a couple of minutes
it should still be in paring mode so go connect all you PCs etc again - if paring mode stops to soon go press button 1 for another 10 minutes
