i have been having on-going problems for over 8 weeks, in Nov I paid £20.00 to upgrade from 1meg to 2 meg so that when upto 8 meg is working I would be able to get it!
in feb when my line was changed to LLU i got 8 meg for about 3 weeks then it all started going wrong!
some days i couldn't connect other days i connected at various sppeds from 2meg to 8 meg, but just when you thought things were going well i would get disconnected!
i have been in contact with wandoo for approx 6 weeks about this issue who kept assuring me the llu had been reported to BT and that it would be sorted!
it never got sorted!
i finally got thru to some scotish guy who told me the number to contact BT (0800 800 151) to find out why the LLU problem had not been fixed.
when i rang BT the lady (who was great) told me there were no jobs waiting to be done on my line, she told me that the fault would be with wanadoo as it was their LLU line!
who the hell do you believe!
i still don't know who to believe but as i was getting no-where i rang wanadoo to cancel my broadband (i am over my 12 month contract but the lady who i spoke to at BT said even if i was in a 12 month contract i would still be able to cancel it as wanadoo were not providing me with what i was paying for!!)
i got thru to the cancellation dept and the guy asked for the usual details, i told him briefly what had been going on, and he just said ok i will cancel your broadband as of now!
no mention of trying to keep me as a valued customer!
no mention of trying to help me further!
i was really pi**ed off by this time and told him i wanted a refund for previous month which he said i would get!
so that was it end of wanadoo broadband at my house!
i asked the guy who told me the LLU would be removed from my line in 4-7 working days!
i also rang BT later the same day who told me the request was being processed and that the LLU would be off my line by may 2nd and that then i would be free to order broadband from whover i liked
i have decided i am going to get Virgin plan 2. its 17.99 for up to 8 meg with a 6gb download limit and NO 12 MONTH CONTRACT! so if it doesn't work out then i can cancel it after a month.
HEY, TAKE IT YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE? THE LADY AT BT TOLD ME THEY HAD TO CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT IF THEY COULD NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU CONTRACTED TO WHICH IS 12 MONTHS WANADOO BROADBAND AT A CERTAIN MEG! I WOULD KEEP COMPLAINING THEY WILL GET SICK OF YOU IN THE END! GOOD LUCK!

PLEASE TELL ME IF THE Virgin DEAL GOES TO PLAN. IF MY CONNECTION AINT SORTED IM GONA CANCEL AT THE END OF THE MONTH SO IM LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PROVIDER.
