Got a house full over Christmas. Of course "techy" son has to start p*****g about with my wi-fi connection doesn't he ? (attempting to connect his laptop to the system).
All fall down.
Then realise that daughter and husband have bought a wireless cot monitor with them so that they can "monitor" our first beautiful grandchild when he's asleep and they are drinking themselves into oblivion at our table (at our expense I might add )
Comprehensive testing concludes that monitor stops wi-fi working (this is discovered after I have written said son out of my last Will & Testament).
