I recently lost my broadband for 8 days due to the 'PPP Server down' problem, whatever that was.
I put up with the usual awful customer service from Orange and their technical 'support'. I eventually complained to the ISPA and within around 3 days I had a named contact at Orange who passed it through for priority technical assistance and it was resolved quickly.
7 days later, broadband isn't working again. Same issue as before. Phoned technical support who could only say the engineers would be looking at the problem as it was being monitored after my last complaint.
I tried to cancel my broadband but was told I would have to pay £40 to do so (which I'm becoming sorely tempted to do).
Anyone ever contacted their named Orange contact a few days after their problem had been resolved? Just thinking that if I do another ISPA complaint it will go through to the same team to deal with again anyway...
