There has been a significant increase in the number of spam posts on the OrangeProblems.co.uk forum.
Unfortunately, at present there is nothing we can do other than remove these posts as soon as they are noticed.
We are aware that these posts are becoming more explicit and the content may be offensive. We apologise for this.
Please note that we are doing our very best to control such postings and we are quite ruthless in banning members who post such content.
The only real solution is for us to validate each new member individually, preventing postings until they have been validated. This is very time consuming and removes the ability of new members to post a message immediately after registering. We are aware that when already frustrated with an OrangeProblem, the last thing a new member would want is to have to wait up to 24 hours before they can post a message. In our view, this is not acceptable so in the meantime, we are looking into other ways to prevent the offensive posts.
Be assured that we are trying to combat these nuisance posts and will keep you up to date with our progress in fighting them.
