<Livebox Issues? ~ Freeserve FTP access may not be a Livebox Issue

I have taken out the wreteched Livebox, and re-installed my old Alcatel Speedtouch USB. The problems are just the same. My websites are still totally inaccessable using my FTP program. They were provided by FREESERVE, and until November, I could access them through the two Energis servers, freeserve.net and freeserve.com using either WS-FTP or Core FTP.
The only positive thing to come out of ditching this heap of junk they call a Livebox, is that my reported connection speed with the trusty Alcatel Speedtouch weighs in at between 6 and 7mB - the best I ever saw with the Livebox was 2mB - So much for progress.
One last thing, maybe a bit off topic, here: Orange seem to have blocked my access to this website on my Orange connection. Anyone else finding this to be the case ?
