Back in April,I installed Wanadoo (Now Orange) CD for Wireless connection, to there Invatel Livebox for my Broadband connection on my son’s laptop (Evesham, with WMC). Everything worked fine. When he was due to go to Uni taking the laptop with him,
I uninstalled the Wanadoo software. Now he is back home I have tried to install the Wanadoo CD again,(tried 2 different cd’s) but I can only get to the first page of the set up,then it will go no further. I have tried setting up with both Firewall (Windows) and the Anti virus uninstalled with the same results. Please can anyone advise me what the problem may be?

Probably not your firewall at all, that screen is just there to inform you, it doesn't actually check anything do actually do anything. There is however a problem with a security update that effects the CD.
If you are using the Inventel adapter then pop the CD in and follow these 2 simple rules to install it.
1. Only click an option once (unless you try rule 2 and it doesn't work, so repeat)
2. Once you've clicked a button or option and it does nothing, just sticks where it is then click on a blank area of the window. (same corner or place works best like in the bottom right corner or above the button itself.
Other controls like text entry, selections, radio buttons etc should work as normal, it mainly effects the continue buttons.
