I have just taken out a new £35 a month contract with you, in order to get free Broadband. I am, on the whole, delighted with the way everything has gone. Your free broadband offer certainly kept my customer with Orange, I would have left otherwise, after being an Orange customer for over 10 years.
You need to get one thing right though. I absolutely wasted Three days trying to get my orangehome e.mail working right. Despite many messages to Orange help, you insist that the reason my user name and password are sometimes rejected, is a problem at my end.
This site has showed me that many people are suffering this problem. It isn't the end of the world ! BUT it is important to be straight with people. If there is a problem, tell them. It could have saved me Three days getting more and more frustrated !
I do sympathise with your situation, but I would recommend that you bypass the ISP email address, and just get one from another provider. Reason being that you don't want a server based email address in the format of an orangehome one. The orangehome email addresses are really easy to spoof, because the servers recognise anything@your_email.orangehome.co.uk as yours. bobeddybob@your_email.corangehome.co.uk would work. so don't make an outlook profile, use webmail if anything.
