No discussion much on this site about people setting up non-Livebox wlan with Orange broadband. Is this possible? I am buying Buffalo WLAN router WHR-HP-G54 and a Belkin USB network adapter - does anyone have experience of non-Livebox set-up with Orange?
For the most part it's pretty easy as long as it's a router with built in ADSL modem. Just grab the page found through the Orange help pages when you search for "orange settings" and that covers pretty much everything you'll need. Connect up the router, log into it, enter some settings, save them and it should connect straight up.
BTW it's usually better if you can get equipment all from one manufacturer if possible, usually means they'll always play nicely together that way plus then only one stop for support.
