Not really a problem, but i didnt know where else to post...
Well as the title says, i got the following email from Orange this morning..
Quote:
Hello
Great news. We're making some changes that could mean we can speed up your
broadband service - for free!
We're going to complete your upgrade on 06/12/2006 between 8am and 6pm. It'll
only take about half an hour, but during that time you won't be able to get
online. Sit tight though, we'll email you as soon as it's done to let you know
your new speed.
Firsty, they say "we COULD" they probably wont, also, recently i got upgreaded to 4.5meg and they said that was the max, so how could i be getting faster? are they sending this to every Orange customer or just those who are getting upgraded?
Also, i logged into my member centre, and it is now saying there as an order on my line, etc... and i didnt ask them to do anything to my line... so maybe they are doing something?..
Just wondering if anyone else got anything like this
Yep i thought so too, thats why i wanted to know if anyone else got it.
And yeah im on MAX, but not getting 4.5mg, about 2.4 still, as i stating in the other thread, so hopfully *fingers crossed* they will upgrade me to the speed im actually meant to get...
Hopfully, so theres a chance they might actually upgrade me to the 4.5meg they promised on my last "upgrade"?
If so, orange would have actually made me happy for once lol
Also, i've never recived that email for any other upgrades (that have gone fine)
I researched that message a bit and one hte rsults said thats the email they send when they're upgrading the exchange for LLU, but theres nothing on sameknows.com about my exchange being upgraded so... Guess i'll have to wait and see what happens next wednesday.
