if you're using a software based VPN like hamachi or similar, take a look at the barefruit thread. it was our software VPN, particularly outlook failing to connect which led me to the fruity people
Here's the easiest way you can tell if your requests are being redirected through barefruit - - try to visit the site http://www.completeanduttergib...654.co.uk/ or similar (i.e. a website which doesn't exist) - and see if you get a 'server not found error' - or a webpage from Orange. If you get the latter, changing your DNS server/s to those listed on the barefruit website's opt-out page should fix it for now. (me hearties)
