My broadband connection still hasn't been fixed. I was told last week that the problem would be fixed by 27th November, didn't hold my breath, glad I didn't, I would be dead by now. I am very F annoyed with Orange
After speaking to a supervisor today, in the team Orange refer to as support, I was told that the problem has been stuck in their systems, since the 3rd October, I ask you. I have rung them so many times between the 3rd October and today, why has no one spotted this before? All lies of course don't believe a word they tell me, perhaps they all have a list of lies in front of them and because this one hasn't been put on my notes, the person who I spoke to today thought that they would try this lie.
The customer support team also have no idea. I was told a couple of weeks ago, that they could not continue to give me free months of broadband, a joke really when I am not getting broadband. I spoke to a supervisor today, who has given me 5 months free broadband. The only reason they gave me this is because I asked them for a refund, which they applied before, for my dial-up account. Oh no we don't do refunds on dial-up accounts, so why have I received a refund before? Apparently, it wasn't a refund for my dial-up account it was compensation for broadband. At the time I was told that it was a refund for my dial-up account and I would not get any compensation for broadband until the problem is fixed and they can work out how much they can compensate me for. They just haven’t got a clue.
Before they drive me completely up the wall and I totally lose the plot because of their incompetence and lack of commitment to a long-standing customer. I have been with Freeserve then Wanadoo and now Orange for 8 years. I have decided to change to BT, perhaps they know what they are doing but who knows?
I too have been subjected to the game known as "Customer services tennis".
I have written to The ISPA and a letter to Orange head office and at present I'm putting together a web page to have Orange boycotted.
I'll continue to let them fraudulently take money from my account in the knowledge that they know full well they are not giving me a service as promised and in the meantime before my 12 months are up I'm going to make as much noise as possible!
