I've only had the live box a couple of months, tried conecting wireless but no luck, perhaps it was me not understanding the instructions, that fast flashing "@" light is starting to annoy me.........
I decided to go the wired route but that fast flashing light is still there, so I called the nice helpful folk at the call centre, switched it off and on, all that reset stuff, still fast flashing. they then tell me not to use my phone for 48 hours while they check the line, I call back then and they say there is a line fault, I ask them if its been fixed, they said no, I ask why not and had they asked BT to fix it? they told me they would contact BT if I wanted them too......good grief! so I call back in another 48 hours (of trying not to use the phone) and I get more fluffing about, they want me to check my cables yet again, so I ask for the line test results, call back in 4 hours and the work will be completed, I call back 10 hours later to give them some extra time...so I ask them this morning had the fault been corrected and the idiots ask me if I had the cables plugged in......give me strenght! why do they use a script? So I ask was the line fault corrected, they said to call back in 48hours for a line check again......in the mean time the light is flashing, I'm getting cheesed off with it all, thank god I have a second line that has AOL on it.......now AOL knows how to sort out issues, I'm realy impressed with them, the only reason I wanted to join Orange because it was free!
I recon that BT was never asked to enable my line for adsl in the first place, should I contact BT?
Whats the best thing to do, cancel my contract with Orange broadband in protest along with my phone contract, does this protest work? any help or ideas woud be extremly welcome!
