Following instructions provided by BramleyApple http://www.transcience.freeser...eless.html and others, I've managed to get my Apple Macbook to communicate wirelessly with Orange's Livebox. I've got into the configuration.adsl pages and changed the settings- including the 'connection login' and 'connection password'.
What I can't get it to do is to connect to the Internet.
My @ light on the Livebox is flashing about once a second, which, I think, inidcates that I have a broadband connection.
The @ light flashing like that indicates it's not logged in for some reason. On the page where you entered your username and password what did it say below that next to "Status", this'll help with what's wrong and how to fix it. You could try clicking validate and seeing what it comes back with, if it's anything in progress click the refresh link at the bottom until it comes up with something without "in progress".

Thanks for help- gone thru all self-diagnostic options, including yours, and finally decided I didn't have correct password! Turns out, on phoning Orange, that they'd mis-spelt the password I gave them when setting up the connection! As I'm typing this now on my Macbook all now looks good!
In these sorts of situations never trust the spelling of anyone no matter how well they speak and knowledgable they seem. All it takes is one slip and your email address ends up being something you don't expect.
Hi,
Orange has Soft Launched Apple MAC Support for Livebox (Wired & Wireless). Call 0870 010 2462 IVR options: 1-5-3-1.
Regards...
The future is bright, the future is Orange...
