just to confirm the official xbox 360 wireless adaptor works fine with the livebox
I have had no problems with the connection and the livebox does not block ports or anything to disrupt game play (firewall set to medium (default))
actually i have heard that the firewall doesn't block any ports with such game consoles as XboX and PS2 but it blocks only ports on the PC, that's all he block. first time i got Livebox i tried to download with azureus nothing happend, so i had to find out how to open a port. after i done it for the first time, i had to upgrade my livebox. so a new livebox configuration panel. after that i installed my apache server so i can work with my php scripts. but i wanted to let someone see a project of mine, it didn't work, via my IP, so i had to figure out again how to open a port. and that after a while i called wanadoo. they said (in dutch): 'we can't give any support like this about the livebox' but this guy was very ' kind ', he gave me the site: www.portforward.com, but without succes. this site had the old version of the control panel of livebox. so i searched again on google. nothing. after all this i asked support of a friend (before this i didn't know he had a livebox) so only via that friend i knewed how to open a port .. the new control panel is very difficult :s
i setup port forwarding to my pc for apache with no problems... (i set the pc to have a fixed ip)
I found the livebox control panel to be much better than many routers from the likes of netgear and belkin
