I read a few times that the livebox takes about 10 days to settle down on a consistent speed. Mine runs at about 2 to 4 mb. Each time I get a lost conrction I switch to the wired modem. Does this mean that each time I switch back to wireless the 10 days starts again. I don't think it has ever been left for more than a couple of days on the livebox.
The 10 days is only for ADSL Max connections. It starts from your initial logon to the broadband service and runs for 10 days, nothing resets this timer unless a BT engineer does this due to some problem or fault, usually you'd know about it.
