after being offline since yesterday afternnon and the majority of today i can confirm i am now back online.
i've been with freeserve since 2001 and stayed with them right through the wanadoo/orange take over and i can honestly say that this is the first time i've been withou internet access for over 24Hours, so i'm not going to rant about it, i just hope they dont make a habbit of it.

hi mate, yeah i know about the outage, managed to get on the net at work and google it.
thing that annoys me is that the Orange website showed the "Broadband Status" as being ONLINE and OPERATIONAL.........when clearly it wasnt, cant they not update this????

f**** them updating the status page! i would rather they concentrated the man power on fixing the problem! allthough i no this wont be the case (different departments etc.)

yeah i know what ya saying but it would have helped them too, if they'd shown it ass ofline then people who did have dial up connections and alternative access could have seen it and this would have stopped them picking the phone up and calling Orange.
