My email account has worked intermittently for the past 6 months. Checking various forums on the net it seems like this has been happening for years. I have tried all the variations including pop.wanadoo.co.uk, pop.freeserve.co.uk and pop.orangehome.co.uk (as well as pop.orange.co.uk and the IP addresses) I have used outlook express, thunderbird and two other computers.
I have phoned Orange I have emailed them and written to them - they have come up with various "fixes" - none of which have worked. My internet connection (thankfully) is working fine, I can access Orange webmail, although it is so slow and cumbersome I would rather not. I have been a customer since freeserve, but I am getting p****d off at spending so much money on a service which only half works???
Am seriously considering Sky - £19 for "See Speak Surf" instead of £17.99 for Orange Broadband and no F**** email. Anyone else switched, thinking of switching - is Sky any better than Orange?
