Hello,

First of all excuses for my bad english.

I´m an Orange ADSL+ user in Spain, I´ve recently upgraded my livebox to its new release v5.10.3-sp.

Last monday I´ve received an sms on my mobile phone from Orange "On next days, please don´t reboot your LiveBox because it is going to be upgraded...it is to improve our Quality"

Ok, on that moment I prayed to God and all the Saints of heaven!!! Wink

Yesterday, when I was connected to Internet, suddenly I lost my WiFi connection. Evil or Very Mad

I rebooted the LiveBox Once and more times, checked Desktop´s wifi configuration, My PS3´s wifi connection fails, laptop too... Question

I remind the sms´s and get conclussions.. Exclamation

.. The livebox has been upgraded. Shocked

I moved livebox from its place to Desktop´s room and connect them by wire. But before several desktop and livebox reboots, I lost my faith and went to bed.

Today I´ve tested the new features on livebox admin´s page, and I saw that on Wifi setcion was a new option actived "WiFi easypairing". I´ve unchecked this option and everything works Ok again: all wifi access, is granted: laptop, desktop, PlayStation 3...

In conclussion: when new feature "WiFi easypairing" is active, the WIFI connection is down.

Questions... Why Orange release this? Why Orange doesn´t advice to customers??? To improve our quality??? which Quality??? not mine!!!

I use mobile, fixed, TV and Internet provided by Orange... I work in Orange Spain on Mobile Technical division, I have not relation with Fixed Networks or ADSL Network´s access Department, because of this I´ve told you this big "tale".

Easypairing shouldn't normally make any difference, it even when turned on, as it is by default, it has to be specifically physically activated to do anything.
