PPP server down has always been an issue on LLU connections, it happens on IPStream too but to a much much lesser degree. As the livebox firmware is the same for both it's likely more down to the servers/configuration.
Hmmm... You might be right about this LLU.
However, 2 questions come here:
- if that's a server issue - why other modems (usually) are able to connect?
- other providers go with LLU and why only Orange has that problem?
As I already said, I believe it's a 2-sided issue. First, as you mention, this is sth about the server working on LLU - it falls into a wrong state (for whatever reason). Second is that other modems are able to recover from it, Livebox is not - which suggests that the Livebox firmware is not perfect either... I'm actually not even surprised by that, as Inventel seems to be dead...
