I had a call from Orange yesterday vey helpful (Joana)
She discussed my problems
1 Outlook email she could not help (contact MS she said)but when I mentioned same problem with Outlook express very surprised reaction (will get back to me on that)
2 Speeds I average 3 she checked and said I should get at least 7 (she will check it out on Monday)
3 I asked if Didier Lombard was aware of this forum. Reply Yes the reason for her calling me was that she was told to by Didier Lombard. Orange were doing all they could to address the problems in UK.
4 I did say a lot of Orange customers here in UK were p****ed of with being given the run around when asking for help.
5 I asked if Orange knew the email address of all there UK customers Yes was the reply I then mentioned it would be very good PR to email these customers explaining that there are problems and what Orange was doing about it.She promised the pass that idea on.
I would just stick to GMail it works and its spamless
Probably will, but its odd that my Avast AV doesn't put a clean message signature into emails sent using the gmail accounts, but it does on the Orange accounts
I am searching in MS forums to see if I can find anything using the following search Outlook,unable,send,emails,outlook,2003 at present it is only turning up item to do with 2007

Remember there was a 5 - 15 second lag before SEND functioned, perhaps this period may extend at certain times of the day....but at least it does go eventually !!

You will need to configure Avast hartec as like AVG standard scanning using ports 25 and 110. Im not sure with AVAST as ive never used it.
