I gather Orange pay little attention to these sorts of gripe until the customer says he is leaving. We’ll see.

Thats true then you get the offers of your package cheaper and a free month or two to stop you leaving i can't see the point you will be still stuck with the same appalling service only for the "privelage" of getting it cheaper, i politely declined and said ide rather go elsewhere and pay for a decent service and support.
Good luck sk hope you get it sorted soon.

peculiar to be disconnected again, after months of no problems. two days in a row. This is an apple powerbook connected to a netgear router. All the lights are on but no one is in. On previous occasions Orange have told me there was no disconnection at their end (except once). I am reluctant to migrate in case it's the same with other ISP's, judging from the comments here, that is not so, however. [sk via dialup]
It is not so but isps such as Orange (lemon)know you will think exactly as you are that was how i thought for 2 yrs with Orange, and i wasted valuable time, i have been with Fast.co.uk since the 20th of dec 2006 and have not been disconnected once that was after they sorted my problem out which Orange said was me it turned out to be BT s fault in the end Fast.co.uk sorted it out an everything as been great since, it is like a huge weight as been lifted, after all theres enough problems to contend with we don't need problems that were paying good money for so get well away from Orange as they are rubbish i mean even Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask see yu m8 an good luck changing although you won't need good luck if yu change to Fast
