Oh no how could i ever have guessed , Lol 5 days..yeah sure. If they havent done anything about it for a year I hardly think they will do anything about it within 5 days.
French? i thought he was indian.. maybe because im used to associating Orange with indians.
But the programme was quite usless, its all well and good him saying that, but i doubt they will expand their speed (LLU) if so they would have done it by now, and getting stuff sorted in 5 days? They havent solved my problems in over 5 months, so i dont hold much hope for them...
I would have LOVED to have asked the "foreign chappy" why they are taking money off people whilst KNOWINGLY not providing a service ......
Do Trading Standards not get involved with this sort of problem?
Hey i wonder what speed Mr french person is getting with his Internet? and maybe he will tell us which ISP he is using cos i very much doubt he is going to use a service that doesnt work..........woops i forgot thats Orange isnt it lmao

Is it just me or was the program completely pointless in a sad way?
In Watchdog's own words:

As in, "The results can not be relied upon as factually accurate as they do not give a fair representation of the companies involved (and we are keen to point this out otherwise we could get sued for liable) as the unique snapshot is going to be biased due to the nature of the program and the 50,000 viewers who have chosen to take part"
Watchdog annoys me as the general approach when they do this kind of thing never really delves deep enough into a problem, a snapshot approach gives no real weight to the severe distress that customers have felt or the good customer service of others.
Surely a follow up watchdog episode should have been arranged to focus on the "worst" isp.
Then I'm sure I would have less of the feeling - carry on as normal then.
Eric Abensur is “Mr French” by the way, not 100% of his position now but I know he was the CEO of Freeserve and then Wanadoo so I presume he holds a similar position now.
Well i think Mr Abensur or wotever his name is needs to get his finger out instead of just lying on TV telling everyone their problems will all be sorted in 5 days.

YAY i am glad that Orange came out worst.... they changed my username ffs then claimed they didn't lol when all the previous emails/letters had the old username (it was also in my 2 modems) and they "sent us our username" as though we forgot it..... which is a bit odd... but when it began to work it was good.... sh****st thing was, when it changed from wanadoo to Orange i was paying wanadoo's top package price and getting Orange's 2nd top package price which was worth £10 less per month... Odd thing is, my isp doesnt seem to be operating as Orange, the servers are not the Orange servers at all, maby they had to create another system to handle the people who were with wanadoo/freeserve and thats why my internet is running at a decent speed. (no 8 Mb/s downspeed though... the RACIST f**** do not offer it in Scotland because they claim the lines here do not support it but they do)... well anyway that sums everything up^
The internet is running fine now (not 8 Mb/s like i said) but i want to change to Be (http://www.bethere.co.uk)... Orange won't give me a migration code that f**** well works.
Thats a joke, in the last 3 months my net has been worse than ever and i have been with this company since it was freeserve and have never had it as bad as this.
