I have finally got all the Account Login problems sorted and my shiny new Livebox is working well.

A new feature is Liveprinter which is supposed to allow the printer to be available via the network rather than via a PC and when I connect a printer to the Livebox via USB, the printer is recognised.

Now the problem...the network cannot see the printer and there is nothing on the Orange Help site other than this feature will be available soon.

Anybody cracked it yet.......OH and BTW.....what is button 2 for on the Livebox.

The printer has to be added manually, more info in the liveprinter livebox thread...

The 2 button turns off the "w" light, which isn't on the Orange livebox's so it doesn't do anything anymore.

I have managed to follow the instructions for the liveprinter and it works.

Just wondering now if I talk to my printer on the network or other PCs then will that use up my 2G allowance??.....or is the 2G only eaten up if I connect to the external network i.e. the internet

Data transfer between pc's and to the printer shouldn't use any of the allowance what so ever as you wondered it's only used for internet traffic.
