Hi all,
When I connect e.g. to my University internet or anyother interne tconnection then I can go in to my 'Netwrok connection' in control panel and see that my 'Local Area Connection' or 'Wireless Network Connection' is connected.
However, when I'm on my Orange LAN at home, I can see the same thing but with an additional icon aka 'Orange gateway connection'?
What is this?
It continuously sends and receives data (which worries me!!)
This happens on my friends Orange connection aswell.
It doesn't appear if my firewall(on my laptop is on) is on before I connect to the internet so why is it needed and what is its purpose. I have a 2G cap so I hope this isn't a sly way of eating up my 2G allowance.
