As you may be aware I received my Livebox last Monday and once I realised Orange had my username incorrect, I got connected in no time, thanks to this great forum.
After nearly a week I still hadn't received my email, so I thought today I would give them a call to chase it up.
I first got through to Broadband Technical Support call centre in India after only waiting for about 5 minutes and although the lady couldn't help me due to her system being down, she did try her best and talk me through the process manually, but in the end we had to give up. Have to say though she was very helpful and told me speak to Customer Support and say that she had said I needed my Talk Service activated manually.
I called Customer Support and the phone only rang about 5 times and I got a really nice English lady who said she should be alble to activate my talk service in a few minutes. After a few minutes of security questions and confusion over my Broadband Connection username being different to my current email address, she had it sorted.
I was told my number and voicemail PIN code and told to wait 15 minutes and restart my Livebox. I waited, restarted and hey its working
Credit where credit is due I am really pleased that I have got my Talk activated, just wish I did it earlier
From what I can tell so far the quailty seems pretty good, if a little quiet. People can hear me fine, but they seem a little quiet on my phone to me. I don't know if there is a way of making it louder yet, so I will read some more posts
