Is this meant to happen?
Sometimes while just borwsing, the Livebox restarts for no reason, is it trying to update or something else?
My connection on the control pannel is never up for say, 1 week Solid.

If it's trying to update, it's annoying as it happens right in the middle of things sometimes.

Shouldn't happen. Call Orange Tech support and request a new power supply.
The reason it looks like it's updating is the Livebox run on its own UNIX operating system and the power outage throws the box into a complete setup sequence that takes about 2mins to complete.
