Voip was working fine up to yesterday, then nothing.
Called the Technical Helpline and got through to the UK call centre
Tried the factory reset, no joy and was then talked through livebox recovery using the cd. End result, everything working
Then "forced" a firmware update, everything downloaded and flashed OK, result, NO VOIP again!
Looks like my livebox doesn't like a firmware update.
Went through the recovery process again myself and got it working again.
Anyone else having this problem?
Having said that, the woman I spoke to was very helpful, she even checked what download speed I should be getting (6Mb/sec) and said she would escalate my speed issue (only getting 512Kb/sec) and try to get it sorted out as it looked like the speed increase hadn't been implemented.
I shall wait to see if I get anywhere on that one and I confidently expect that VOIP will be AWOL by the morning following an overnight auto update DOH!
