Try the BT tester again and look for something like below:

DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 6199 kbps
I have retried the test and get almost the same results,the info you are asking for isnt there.
when i click on your link ,im taken to a web page where i put my phone number in,then i'm taken to another page and put my number in again,then i'm given the results as per my previous post.
glenhill, it's pretty certain that he's not on ADSL Max, his upload speed is on 288 meaning he's been LLU'd or is still on IPStream, IPStream being what I'd bet it is.
It's still possible to be on Max with a stuck profile but I've never heard of a stuck upload profile, plus the profile doesn't limit the sync speed which should go up as best it can.
Best to confirm with Orange what you're on IPStream, IPStream Max or LLU. Also ask about any upgrades from the package change in October to see if something was supposed to go through but didn't. Changing package in October shouldn't have offered the upgrade to ADSL Max as that only really started in November.
