This isn't really an Orange problem but I can't find an answer anywhere else and I thought the resident experts here might know!
I have a desktop wired to the livebox, and my laptop connected wirelessly. I want to access my music library on the desktop hard drive from windows media player on the laptop - but can't!.
I have set up file sharing, so it is easy to just go into 'my network places' and access the desktops 'my music' file from there, but I want to browse it directly from windows media player.
The aim is to then plug my laptop into my hi-fi in the living room for playing music off my desktop hard drive.
This seems far easier and cheaper than whatever oranges 'live music' thing is going to involve!.
I'm on WMP11 here so I don't know if it's the same for older versions...
Drop down library and select add to library, select my folders and those of others that I can access, hit the advanced button and you should be able to see the folders it checks for files. Try adding the shared folders into there and see if it works ok.
