Sorry if this is answered on another thread - my dealings with Orange have rendered me incapable of thinking clearly.
Won't bore you with details - my story is the same as so many others on here. After 2 failed attempts to migrate to BT with a MAC code, Orange admitted that's not possible as I'm on LLU. Cancelled 13 days ago and was told it would take around 10 days to clear the line. Have been trying BT's 'enter your number to see if Braodband's available' and still getting message that there is a device on the line (ie: LLU not yet cleared. Is there another way to check if line is now cleared?
Is the 10 days 10 days, or 10 working days, or whenever Orange can be bothered? I've spent too much time and money on the phone to Orange about their non-existent service over the past couple of months to want to ring them and ask.
I don't hold out any hope of getting connected again and will now continue with my campaign to put the boot right in to these obvious p**s takers until my 12 months are up then I will cancel and move on but keep campaigning. This is what Orange have driven me to in just over 2 short weeks. What a way to run a business and generate new customers eh?
I have been so angry and frustrated I've felt like smashing my head against the wall because I was sure I was going mad!

It's usually upto 10 working days but often is quicker and just within 10 days. Because it's Orange LLU then you'd need to talk to them in order to check the cease progress if checkers still show your line as tagged.
