Just had a call from Orange. They are following up on my complaint to the ISPA. She asked if I had a connection and I said yes, but it appears to be slow (not getting anything higher than about 2MB, even as low as 512kbps at busy times). She promised that someone would call me back this evening to go through some settings to make sure I'm getting as close to 8Mbps as possible. I informed her that I am still waiting for call backs to tell me that my connection is working. I noticed the light flashing problem was resolved a couple of days ago but still no one had called me back as promised to confirm it was all working. She told me that job had been closed as the fault had been repaired. It would have been nice for someone to call me to tell me this. So she promised me that an engineer will call me at approx 6pm to go through my settings to make sure I get optimum service, but I stressed that I'm still waiting for a "promised" call back from Sunday so I don't hold out much hope of getting this one. Will update tonight/tomorrow depending on what does/does not happen
