Does anyone know how to connect a lap top to the wireless box without using one of their Inventel USB card but using the computers own wireless card?
I have a DELL Inspiron 6400 with a Intel pro/wireless 3945ABG. When I try and set it up manually, it finds the live box but does nothing. I have entered the WEP code correctly and the channel is set correctly and I have set up the MAX code.
When I use the livebox software it get to the bit when I should plug in the USB cable and it just sits their.
a) check the thing is turned on more often than not theres a Fn key and a F1-12 key with the wireless symbol combine these 2 and your card turns on,
b) access control panel, start -> control panel
c) click network connections
d) right click that and select properties, tick allow windows to configure blah blah and remove existing connections,
(If this option isnt there start wireless zero config, go to control panel > administrative tools > services > bottom of the list double click set start up type to automatic and click start, voila the tab is now there)
e) upon removing the connection pair your LB press the 1 button once.
f) double click wireless network connections and then click the Livebox in there and will ask you for network key, thats the WEP key on the bottom of the Livebox, no spaces all caps any o is a 0 (zero)
